Adult Music Lessons

Music Notes Academy offers adult private music lessons and instruction for students 18 years of age and older. Registration is for new adult students, continuing students or transfer students from other music schools or private teachers.

Many of our adults enjoy recreational music making and learn drums, piano, guitar, violin, viola, cello and singing.

Adults can participate in our Music Notes Academy performances and student exams, assessments or evaluations.

If you are an adult student, 18 years and older, simply register below for instruction our East Brunswick, NJ Academy.

We always include music theory when we're teaching. Students can additionally and separately study music theory, harmony and arranging, composition and song writing. Music Theory tutoring is available for college minors and majors, hobbyist musicians and professional musicians.

Student Bands --- School Year '24-'25

Student bands and performance classes over the years have included percussion ensembles, keyboard workshops, chamber groups, string quartets, musical theater workshops, littleNotes early childhood music classes and student rock bands. Registration for school year Bands & Performance Classes is $85 and includes learning materials and performances. Classes are $38ea. for 60mins and $45ea. for 75-Minutes weekly. Students in our bands and performance classes are required to have private instruction with us.

Select Academy Music Programs - In-Person or Online - Include our backbeat Group Make-Up Classes for student absences. School Year Registration is $65. Semester Registration is $79. Performance Plus Certificate Program Registration (by audition only) is $129. Unless paying tuition in-full for a Semester only, all music learning programs are September through June. Discontinuing a school year enrollment early, before the end of MNA's school year, is $275 plus 60-days of tuition. This is noted within the tuition PDF and within the Academy Policies. If you'd like Hybrid - where the student toggles between online and in-person, simply let us know.
